A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE
From Elite 23 International Inc comes a new program for Chicago middle school girls, designed to strengthen self-esteem, encourage academic excellence and expand horizons on multiple levels.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Elite Academy will meet every other Saturday beginning in September 2019 from 10am-2pm.
We will begin our first meeting of the month inside our untraditional classroom located in a beautiful tower in downtown Chicago. Here the ladies will cover a vast array of topics such as self-care, individuality and civic engagement. The girls will also hear from prominent speakers and inspirational women from all walks of life.
During the second meeting of the month we will be making the world our classroom by taking the ladies on unique field trips and journeys that span from cultural lunches to technology and STEM labs around the city.
Each participant will also be assigned a mentor who will help guide them through the year on a personal level that is catered to their individual needs.
At the end of the year we will host an Academy showcase that will allow the girls to shine and present what they've learned during the program.
FAQ
What costs are associated with the Academy?
Elite 23 takes pride in making our programs accessible to young ladies from all walks of life. There are no tuition fees or program costs however we do ask that parents pay a one time fee of $60 for the program uniform. Small amounts of spending money may also be suggested for certain field trips throughout the year.
Is transportation provided?
Unfortunately at this time ELITE does not provide transportation for the Academy. Parents will be expected to secure a reliable ride both to and from sessions.
What is the selection process?
While we wish we could accept each participant we unfortunately have a limited capacity. Participants will be chosen based upon application timestamp and overall program fit. Both applicants and parents selected during round one will be required to attend an in person meeting. After the session the selection team will meet to discuss and select final candidates.
What is required of a participant?
Participants are required to attend each session ready and open to new experiences. We know that this may be the first time most participants are in this setting so we encourage even the shyest of girls to apply :) We expect that the girls have a desire to positively contribute and be open to making new friends and great memories.
What is required of me as a parent?
Similar to all Elite 23 programs we aim to keep parents as stress free as possible. All we ask is that parents encourage any Academy lessons and ensure that girls arrive to each session on time. We also ask that parents be open to communicating with their child's assigned mentor as well.
ACADEMY APPLICATION
