trio of action
Elite 23 strongly believes that by exposing youth and young adults to creative experiences, cultures and unique opportunities we can expand their horizons and position them on the path to success while simultaneously building genuine connections that are set to last a lifetime.
ELITE (Enhanced Leaders Inspiring Through Excellence) was created to empower and uplift women and young girls around the world. Founded on the principles of academic excellence, community involvement and higher level thinking, ELITE makes it a priority to ignite passion and leave a life-long positive impact on the lives of many. Through educational events and programs, unique experiences, worldwide alliances, and a lifetime network of members, ELITE seeks to inspire the world while creating more leaders along the way. ELITE is not only an organization, it is a way of life.
Each year Elite hosts multiple events, workshops, travel expeditions and service projects that align with our core values.

what we do
meet the founder.
has made it her mission in life to inspire, empower, and lead. As a twenty-three year old graduate student, she has accomplished many great things in such a short amount of time. Born and raised in Chicago Illinois, Valencia has always believed that to whom much is given much is required.
Her passion to serve began at a very early age as she created her first service organization in the fourth grade in which she entitled "Angels Way". Since then Valencia has continued to serve others by participating in city-wide initiatives and creating organizations geared towards empowering youth such as a dance group for inner-city teens and a service organization for high school girls.
During her sophomore year at the University of Missouri (Mizzou) Valencia decided to launch Elite 23 in efforts to continue public service while also connecting and bonding with like-minded women on campus.
Valencia credits the success of Elite to not only her immense passion but also to the dedication and drive of the members. She believes that without a solid team Elite would not be the organization that it is today.
